Many krill boilies lean on a dry meal that carries krill in its name. Red Kriller is built on Qrill Aqua krill meal and full-fat krill extract, also known as krill hydrolysate, which makes the base richer, fuller and more attractive. On top of that sit CLO cod liver oil, a water-soluble super attractant and Robin Red from Haith’s. It has been one of the best-selling baits in the range for years, and it performs best in spring and autumn.

How it came about
Red Kriller did not come out of a factory. It started in a small studio in Groningen, where the founder of Solution Boilies rolled bait in his kitchen with standard krill meal, much as everyone else did. One evening a mate came over to watch football, a skipper by trade, who looked at what was happening in the kitchen and immediately questioned the krill product being used. Not long after he turned up with a Qrill Aqua concentrate: full-fat krill combined with a krill liquid, which opened up possibilities that dry krill meal never could. The hard part was dosage and shelf life. Working with a fresher, richer product took months of testing to find a balance that did not bring on mould early. Once that dosage was right, the base for Red Kriller was set.
